The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
